Microsoft Dynamics RMS Headquarters Client is the store-side companion to Microsoft’s Retail Management System (RMS) Headquarters. It links an individual store’s Store Operations database to the central Headquarters database, enabling secure, scheduled, two-way data replication. With Headquarters Client, chain retailers can receive centrally managed item catalogs, prices, promotions, tender and tax settings, and store configuration worksheets, then review and apply them at the store. The client simultaneously sends sales transactions, inventory levels and adjustments, purchase orders, receiving, customer updates, and store-to-store transfers back to Headquarters.
Designed for multi-store environments, the application helps maintain consistent data, streamline chain-wide updates, and provide the head office with near real-time visibility into store performance. It supports role-based access, synchronization logging, conflict handling, and operation over intermittent or low-bandwidth connections. Headquarters Client is a component of the Microsoft Dynamics RMS suite and requires RMS Headquarters Server and Store Operations.
